For sale is this vintage Mann axe head, weighing 3lbs.2 ounces. Signed "Mann Edge Tool Co. Lewistown Pa. U.S.A.", it measures 6-9/16" long, with a 4-15/16" wide edge, a 1" X 3-1/4" poll, or end, and a 13/16" X 2-1/2" eye. It is in very good overall condition, with a good edge, very slightly rough, which will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The poll shows some use and wear, and the remnants of the old handle remain in the eye, as pictured.
