Vintage man made mini hatchet, cleaver with stag handle, 1936 buffalo nickel inlay in back of the handle with man made, hand stitched leather sheath. Knife and sheath are both very well made. No play or wiggle in the blade or handle, stitching in the sheath is in tacked and very tight except for one corner needs to be tied or retucked. I believe the blade is cut from an old shear. Judging by the style of the knife, buffalo nickel inlay, and the stitching on the sheath o believe this to be indian made. But I am not a collector, dealer or knife expert. The blade measures 3 1/4 inches long and overall length is 7 inches. The sheath has an extra leather insert to protect the sheath from the knife blade. I have several of these available some with an Indian head penny rather than the buffalo nickel. Please check my other listings
