Overall length of the tool is about 15 inches as measured along the hardwood handle.
The cutting edge is about 3 1/4 inches in width and remains in \"unmolested\" or \"as found\" condition.
The tool weighs about 1 pound and 10 ounces.
The handle appears to be the original and is a little loose in the eye of the hatchet. It appears that a wax like material was used in the eye to secure the handle. A little of that wax is missing. (See photo)
