This vintage mid-century modern table lamp is a rare find for collectors who appreciate the unique design and Folk Art of the space age era. The lamp features a Orb shaped shade with an atomic shaped design, giving it a retro feel that complements any room's decor.

The antique gold finish adds a touch of elegance to the this original one of a kind table lamp. Measuring 15 3/4 inches in height and 10 inches deep front to back finial, this lamp is medium-sized and free-standing for tabletops.

CONDITION- The lamp is a folk Art piece made of many mid century antique components, there is aging such as some slight patina speckles and a flake of finish that has worn away by the rear finial mount. The base is very sturdy but there is a repair that was done to the bottom plastic piece, plastic welding I believe it’s called, done to repair a crack in the plastic and seems to have done the job very well. A few very slight small tings in the atomic base and orb. Overall cosmetically the light looks great but does have your typical imperfections from age.

The lamp holds one standard bulb of your choice in the large 8” orb on top, and a small socket inserts into the lower bottom portion and holds a small accent bulb to light up the perforated holes in the base. Lamp is operated by an on/off roller switch on the cord.

PLEASE NOTE- The orb on top does NOT pivot.

SORRY- bulbs not included.

Sky is the limit with your bulb choices. I think color changing LED bulbs would look phenomenal!

NOTE- If you use a large incandescent bulb in the orb the metal gets very warm, LED bulbs highly recommend in this lamp.
