Scarce Aldo Londi seated Lion ceramic sculpture. Simply slip glazed provoking a rustic organic sensibility. The antithesis to the common Rimini Blue Londi figures that are so ubiquitous. As far as I can tell this design has not been reintroduced. Three small areas of loss. See last seven pictures. Due to the rustic nature of this design and its lack of a glossy glaze it is only apparent on close inspection. The three small areas of damage blend into the overall design and coloration. 12.5” x 8” x 7”
