There is a scratch and a light spot on the metal as shown in the photos.Arthur Salm (1904-1988) escaped Germany during the Nazi reign in Germany, and eventually made his way to the United States, where his work contributed importantly to the acceptance of stainless steel tableware in the post-WW II world. Arthur Salm Inc. was formed in Chicago circa 1952, with headquarters and a show-room at 32 S. Clark St. in the heart of the “Loop.” The company logo, a conjoined “AS” is aƩributed to famous Austrian architect and industrial designer Carl Auböck (III)
(1924–1993). It was filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office and granted in June 1959: specified for flatware, kitchen tools, hollowware, and other table ware. The conjoined AS logo was used for many years to mark products marketed in the US and Europe.I pack with care and ship promptly.
