Vintage MCM Blenko 1966 Crackle Glass Vase by Joel Philip Myers inTangerine.

Joel Philip Myers designed for Blenko from 1963-1970. Design 6623 in Tangerine, introduced by Myers in the 1966 Blenko catalog, and was made for 1 year only. Most vases of design 6623 were not crackle glass, they were just clear. The crackle glass with these stunning colors are more rare.

Executed in Tangerine which was struck in the dramatic \'amberina\' coloration (yellow/orange/red) that Joel preferred, achieved by partially reheating the piece after blowing it.

In good vintage condition: no chips, cracks, staining or sickness.

Dimensions:14-1/2 inches tall x 7 inches in diameter.
