Estate find...menu measures about 8.5\". The paper is thick with a beautiful woodgrain texture pressed in. The back side features an awesome print advertisement for Fruit Dispatch Company bananas. This menu was for the Wednesday Evening meal on March 12, 1924. The Venetian Room was an upscale restaurant at the Mansion Inn in Wayland, Massachusetts. Per the local historical society, the mansion was once a private residence turned speak easy that eventually became the Mansion Inn that had an \"...elegant dining and dancing venue with a lavish ballroom\". The Inn was in operation until the building tragically burned down in 1956.
This menu was collected by an antiques dealer and were preserved in plastic.Please see photos for better descriptions.Most items are vintage and sold \"as is\". I do my best to describe any imperfections, and try to photograph flaws to ensure confidence in the decision process.
