This vintage Louis Vuitton padlock with two keys (#315) is a must-have for collectors and fashion enthusiasts alike. This lock and keys set is authentic and it is from my LV Keepall, which was a gift to me in 1995(special birthday!). I have never used the lock as I only took the bag when I traveled by car and didn’t feel the need to lock it and I never used it for decoration. However there are a few scratches. Back in 1995, LV put these locks and keys in a little thin paper box, not the drawstring pouches of today.The box is not in good shape, but it is included. The lock is a nice weight and both keys work perfectly. If you are buying this for a vintage bag, you might want to keep it unpolished to match your bag, or you can polish it up. You Tube has an excellent tutorial on polishing the brass.
