Vintage Lot 21 1960s Letters Postcards Upsala College NJ CA Travel Love Letters

The letters and postcards are in fair condition with moderate/noticeable signs of wear and tear present. There are a total of 11 letters and 10 postcards, along with 1 empty envelope (postmarked October 20th, 1964). The letters and postcards all have minor signs of staining, slight tears, and other condition issues present throughout, along with fold-lines present on the letters. The letters and postcards were sent from a Chrissie P. to Jeff Rosner of Towaco, New Jersey. Of interest: \"I saw a 65 Covair which was all yellow and it really looks nice\" (11/10/64), \"...But my poor Mets, still in last place, won\'t they even get out of the cellar? I\'m looking forward to the World Series and you know who I\'m rooting for.\" (10/6/64), \"...They uprooted a \"NO PARKING THIS SIDE\" sign, post and all, and brought it into my room.\" (11/1/64), \"We haven\'t gotten a phone yet because the company is putting up a big stink about it. It happens that you have to be 21 to get one...\" (10/1/64), \"...Right now I\'m watching one of those full length color films..\" (6/27/67). 7 of the letters are written on Upsala College (East Orange, New Jersey) letterheads; the college itself closed in 1995. Those 7 letters\' contents are mostly about school/college life (interesting considering now the college is closed), and occasionally making plans to meet up with the recipient. The 4 other letters\' contents are mostly about traveling to Frescno and Los Angeles, California and meeting up with family. Those envelopes are marked \"VIA AIR MAIL\". A very interesting small collection of letters and postcards!
