I have collected Vintage and Antique bags (among many other things!) for many decades.
Sometimes you find that one, really cool piece, that you keep around cause it\'s just so darn neat, this travelers desk was one of those items!
A vintage travel lap writing desk..with no laptop involved!
Tri folding, with multiple inner compartments for documents, pen/pencil leather slide in holders.
The closure is brass and yes!, It works perfectly!
The leather is worn and aged and could use a very nice conditioning treatment. Certain areas still have that wonderful old leather smell.
The handle and edges are aged in spots.
In general, this well used, by some long ago traveler, still holds it\'s strength and absolute charm!

It\'s a special one... Would make for a great shelf display, to wander by, touch and wonder what was written or drawn on that neat desk space!
