Wonderful vintage statue features the comedy duo Laurel & Hardy, kept in a smoke free home, this is one of several items I will be listing for my neighbor so I will describe it as well as I can. There are several pictures which will give you the best idea on the condition of it. The car is some type of wood or resin material.
There is some age showing that I have added in the pictures, mainly on the rear fender wells and a spot on the front fender there appears to be some cracking, since the car has a distressed look originallyit does blend in when displayed. Overall the rest of it is in pretty nice condition with normal wear from age. There is a sticker on the bottom of the car that says made in Philippines but I am not sure on the exact age of it.
The fire hydrant is actually a coin bank, I am not sure exactly what material it is made of or if it is original to the car but it does fit right in between the front wheels like it should, it feels to me almost like a heavy ceramic but it could be resin, this has two small spots of missing paint and the stopper on the bottom is missing.
In the pictures you will notice the front wheels are at a funny position, this is the way it was made so the hydrant fits in place to look like the car crashed into it.
Would be a fun addition to any collection or man cave. Car is over 19\" long, 14\" tall and 12\" wide. It weighs about 13 pounds before being packed for shipping.
