This ashtray was acquired at an estate sale in Western Illinois. It is appealing, desirable, & collectible.In 1966, Sands opened a 500-room hotel tower. In 1967, Sands became the first of several Las Vegas to be purchased by Howard Hughes. After a celebrated long run in Las Vegas, the Sands Tower was inploded on November 26, 1996. On May 3, 1999, The Venetian opens on the site of the Sands.
We present this piece exactly as it was when acquired. No attempts to clean this item have been made by us. The photos are an accurate depiction of condition. There are no chips or cracks. This ashtray measures approximately 4.5\" across. This will make a great addition to any home or collection. The photos are an important part of the description.
