Here\'s a Collins \"Red Seal\" Jersey pattern. It\'s a rare pattern in very good condition. Has some use marks on it, as shown. Some marks on the butt with marking \"4 1/2\". No cracks. Butt end has a weight stamp showing. Please study the photos and be the judge.

My research on this axe: The RED SEAL axe was madebetween 1905 and 1949? They were stamped like this axe and also made with paperlabels. Some axes were made in Yeagertown,Pennsylvania. Those were marked JAMES H. MANN CO., LEWISTOWN, PA were after 1923. I believe this axe is an early one, made before 1923. The Jersey pattern \"Red Seal\" is rarely seen.
