This pair of giraffes were purchased in 1977 by my Uncle Fred, he was studying finance in Kenya, for his year abroad program, at Oxford. HD bought it at the main marketplace in Nairobi. They sat on a bookshelf for decades and were only dusted once a week by the housekeeper! They are a bit darkened in some areas from time.
