Up for sale is a lot of three, vintage, KA-BAR / Union Cut. Co., hunting / fighting knives. All with fiber washer handles. nickel-silver guards and aluminum pommels. All pre-1937. The 471-4 measures 8.375 overall with a 4.375\" blade. Everything is clean and tight with a smooth handle and much of the factory finish remaining on the blade. Clean KABAR sheath. The 471-5 measures 9.375\" overall with a 5.125\" blade.Everything is clean and tight with a smooth handle and much of the factory finish remaining on the blade. Decent KABAR sheath, but with a tip breakthrough at the bottom. The 471-6 measures 10.125\" overall with a 6\" blade. This one is the nicest of the bunch. Very lightly used, but I did find one very small chip on the blade. (See pic.) Very clean and tight... One of the nicest I have seen. A KABAR sheath, but there are a couple of leather tears at the top, and though I neglected to picture it, the stitching is pulled from the bottom to about 1\" up the sheath. (Basically, a person can lift up the bottom 1\" and expose the blade.)Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you for looking.

I generally do not mention cleaning in my descriptions, since the vast majority of old knives have had some sort of cleaning over the course of their lifetime. I am also human, and make mistakes, but if I do, I will make it right.

ENDING sales EARLY - I rarely end my sales early, except for a mistake, or if an item has not received a offer by day five, I will pull it, regardless if there are watchers or not. Just as it is every buyer\'s right to attempt to \"snipe\" an item at the last second, it is also my right to pull an item. That said, if an sale HAS received a offer, I will not pull it, even if it ends up being a smokin\' deal for you, the buyer. :)

offer RETRACTIONS - Though \"allows\" this, it is supposed to be used only in rare circumstances. If you retract a offer on one of my sales, I will block you. Retracting offers damages the spirit of an sale, and is unfair to legitimate buyers. As a rule, it almost always costs the seller, me in this case, money, as it has the tendency of negatively affecting that particular sale.

PAYMENT - My personal belief is that payment should be made shortly after an item has been won...Definitely within 24 hours. , in all of their infinite wisdom, has decided to give everyone four days to pay, so I need to play by their rules. That said, my settings will automatically cancel unpaid orders at the four day, or 96 hour mark. I will not be taking the time to send you payment reminders. sends us all a reminder when we win, so none of us should need anything further in that regard. If you do not pay, I will have to block you.

response - I will almost always, (I am sure I have missed some over the years), leave response when it is given. Please do not use \"Positive\" response to complain about how long the shipping took to get to you, or some other silly passive-aggressive crap. It is unfair, and quite cowardly, and if that is how a person chooses to conduct themselves, I do not want their business, and will have to block them.
