This vintage Josef Originals Lorrie design is a string and scissor holder. The hand-painted papier mache mouse is perfect for all occasions and will add a touch of kitsch to any kitchen or craft room. Her orange package dispenses the string and her \"eyeglasses\" scissors is there to cut it to any length. This figurine is from the mid-20th century and was manufactured in Japan. Comes with string and scissors.
There are various scrapes to the paper Mache finish that can be touched up. On her right side just below her arm there is a one inch hairline (does not appear to go through) crack and a 1/2\" chip missing from her apron. Along that side are three small chips to her apron ruffle. On her hat on her right side is another chip caused by the scissors. She is at least 50+ years old, made of paper Mache and has been used, so these spots are to be expected. None of them in my opinion detract from her Kitchi appearance. See photos for details.
