This is anold and empty J.R. Watkins Baking Powder trial size tin made in the 1940’s. There is minor rust on the tin and small holesin the shape of a ‘P’ that were punched in the lid. All in all, the tin is still in goodcondition for its age and trial size tins are difficult to find in thiscondition. This is a wonderful addition to any J.R. Watkins or old tincollection.The J.R. Watkins Company was founded in 1868 andtoday continues to sell household products (home and health remedies as well asbaking products). Many people stillremember the Watkins man who came door to door in a horse-drawn wagon travelingaround the countryside many decades ago.Size: approximately 1 ¾” (L), 1 ¾” (W), 2 ½” (H)
