Hi, I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the bookCollecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.

INOX ÉCLAIR is the tang stamp on the spear blade.

I believe that this knife dates to the 1940’s to 1960’s.

No country of origin is marked, but I assume it was made inFrance.

3-5/8” closed (plus bail). “Sportsman’s Utility Knife”pattern.

Nickel silver liners and pins.

Nice buffalo horn handles, great color, light scratches, nocracks or damage.

All blades and tools have strong snap, no wobble.

Used and carried a bit, looks like it was never sharpened.

The blades have the original finish, light patina, light scratches.

The handles and backsprings have light handling rubs andscratches.

This is an older very high quality knife – awesome quality -ruggedly built.
