Set of Two (2) IKEA painted wooden figure Candle Holders - Man and Woman - Traditional Folk Costume
Lizzie Velander design - Lizzie Velander was born in 1920 in Sweden. Her designs were primarily inspired by the interwar Folk Art revival of the 1930s.
These were revived in the 1980s by Ikea as holiday decor.
Each figure measures 11.25 inches tall x 7 inches wide and the bases are each 3 inches front to back.The female figure has a remnant of the original IKEA sticker on the underside of the base.
There are signs of wear such as scuffs, rubs, small scritches, nicks etc. from years of pre-loved use.
