Vintage Holt Howard 1961 Japan Christmas Caroler Angel Candleholders(2) RARE 5”:

An extremely rare whimsical pair of 1961 angel candleholders in excellent condition for age! Just about as nice as you will find! I have added photos on glass to allow for all angles of the pieces to be seen.
The angels are slightly different in height.
The one looking to her right, has her head bowed down more than the other, so she is a tiny bit shorter, at 4 7/8” tall, 3.75” in depth to the back of the candle holder area, and is 3” wide across the bottom of her skirt. The metallic paint on her wings is very good, no thin or missing spots. The paint on her face is so cute and so perfect, as is her hair ribbon. She is marked Holt Howard 1961. The one looking to her left has her head held more straight up, and is 5” tall, 3.75” deep to the end of the candle holder are, and is 3” wide at the bottom of her skirt. The gold paint on her wings is very good, no thin or missing spots. The paint on her face and hair ribbon look perfect to me. She has tiny areas where the paint for her hair did not cover the ceramics, these variations are original to the piece and are attributed to their hand made nature. There is some red candle wax in the candle holder, she is marked Holt Howard 1961 on the bottom as shown. Both of these have been extremely well cared for, I don’t think there is a better example out there. Condition as shown in photos.
