Vintage, Good Used Condition, Hand Carved Polar Bear with outstretched neck. There are some cracks along the base and up to the tail of the bear. Some pitting on the back and head of the bear that seem to be under the finish.
This is an interesting piece that was purchased at the estate sale of a Texan artist/hobbyist. At the sale were several pieces of sculpture by known MCM sculptor, Sascha Brastoff, as well as many pieces (including this one) hand carved by the owner of the estate and modeled after Brastoff\'s peices. This particular piece is modeled after Brastoff\'s \"Foresight\" polar bear sculpture. It is a good replica, quite well done for an unknown hobby-type carving artist.
