Beautiful and unique small size one of a kind Hawaiian Pake Muu dress from late 40s to early 50s. Lovely pattern with at least one Honolulu landmark recognizable - the Aloha Tower - maybe some other landmarks but I couldn’t identify. Very likely some of these places are now gone. Great scenes with a surfer, lady in a bathing suit leaning against a boat, hula girl, and men with a Wa’a outrigger canoe. It was handmade for my mother when she lived in Hawaii for a few years.Measures 49” from mid-shoulder to bottom edge. From armpit to armpit measures 17”.Seam on one side at one side slit needs to be repaired - unraveled a few stitches - see pics 5 and 6. Fabric is not torn and this is an easy repair. Pattern on one sleeve is upside down - way dress was made - pic 12. One dye error on hula girl with slightly brown area at her feet - pic 19. No tears or other stains. No bad odor. Not worn much.
