Vintage Hawaiian 100% Niihau Shell 20 inch 10 strand white rice necklace lei:

This is a genuine Hawaiian 100% Niihau Shell 20 inch 10 strand white rice necklace lei. The white rice shells are high luster off white and strung in the traditional single style (pikake stringing). The lei is finished off with the traditional cowrie shells and hook and eye clasp. This is a family heirloom with original receipt (see photos). Purchased in Lahaina, Maui in 1988.

This item was made in Hawaii, and is at least 80% Niihau shell. The actual percentage of Niihau shell in this item is 100%
