Vintage Haviland Porcelain Teapot - Floral Design with Gold Trim:

This Haviland porcelain teapot is intricately designed and hand-painted on fine porcelain. It would be an elegant addition to a tea set or a stand-alone unique piece of art that could be proudly displayed. It stands approximately 8\" tall and approximately 10\" from handle to the tip of the spout.
⦁This teapot features a tea strainer crafted into the porcelain to keep loose tea leaves from entering the cup.
⦁It also has a very pretty floral design with gold painted trim and accents. Unfortunately, the lid for this teapot is missing. However, it still looks beautiful whether simply being displayed or being used functionally.
⦁The Haviland name is crafted into the porcelain on bottom of this teapot but it is not intrusive and is only noticable when you really look for it. Originally this was thought to be Limoges (and it could be) but it doesn\'t have the backmarks to substantiate that. This teapot shows some signs of paint wear due to its age. The designs are not all as sharp as they were when it was new but as you can see from the photos, the majority are and it is every bit as beautiful.
PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING--This precious teapot has a small chip at the top and a nearly invisible one near the Haviland name. I can\'t even say for certain that this second one actually \"is\" a chip. I have reduced the starting price to fairly compensate for the nearly undetectable flaws. (Please see the last 2 photos.) It has no other cracks or flaws. Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns before purchasing and NOTE that I do not accept returns on this item except in cases of misrepresentation. I make every effort to be as honest and open about the conditions of all my listings before I post them.
