This estate find will make a beautiful addition to your home decor or quilt collection. Vintage quilts of this age, and in this condition, are quite hard to find. This piece appears to have been made with feedsack fabrics, so it probably dates from the mid-20th century or earlier. While a few star pieces have some gentle fading, the colors are mostly still quite fresh. This quilt was hand sewn and hand quilted, as can be seen by the stitching. There are 30 quilt blocks (6 x 5) made in the 8-point star pattern using predominantly blues, yellows, greens, pinks, and other pastel colors. The background color is a medium blue. Very good used condition for its age. No holes or rips. There are several yellow stains along the edges; I will leave it to the buyer to address. Batting is thin.
