Vintage Hand Embroidered Toaster Cover
Vintage toaster cover is hand embroidered on all four sides, making it look like a tiny house or country cottage with a high pitched red roof. Back of house the words, \"It\'s warm as toast in our House,\" are embroidered under the kitchen window.
Cover measures approximately 9 1/2\" wide, 5\" deep, 5 1/2\" top where gutters would be, and 7\" to roof peak.This toaster cover was part of an \'embroidered and sew yourself\' kit back in the 1960s. It was well loved and used, and shows signs of wear, especially along the red binding -- with the worst wear (that just about goes through the binding) in the last three photos. Some of the embroidery stitches are broken and loose, so this may be more of a display item than something to use day-to-day on your toaster. Plus, this cover is made for a vintage toaster; my new fangled two slice toaster couldn\'t fit in this cover.
