This is a vintage hand carved wooden deer/stag head on a plaque that I believe is a cuckoo clock decorative part. It has a metal hanger on the back. The antlers, which I believe are plastic, are removable. The animal\'s right antler has 2 broken points that can be seen in the last photo. I noticed on- line, that replacements for the antlers can be purchased, if the broken points are a problem to you. I believe the eyes are glass. I don\'t know the place of origin, because there are no makers marks on the piece, but I suspect that it was made in Germany. The deer head and plaque measure 11 1/2 inches long and the antlers measure 7 1/2 inches wide. Let me know if you have any questions.
