This vintage carved alabaster birdbath with doves is a lovely little decor piece. It features a square pedestal base and 3 removable doves in various poses. One is missing, as evidenced by the empty pinhole. The smooth marble is creamy white with beautiful grey veining. It stands 3.5\" tall, including the birds, just over 5\" wide, with a 2.5\" pedestal base. Each dove measures approximately 1\" long. The weight is 16.5 oz. Hand carved in Italy, it is inscribed as such on the base. There is also residual tag residue on the bottom that I have not attempted to remove. The piece is clean and from a nonsmoking home. As noted in the final 2 photos, one corner of the base is chipped, along with a chipped tail on one bird. Zoom in on photos for better detail and measurements.
