You are offerding on what I think is a handmade ink pin made of bone with 3 stacking elephants carved on the top. This pen measure 5 5/8s in. The elephants are well made, I think. At first I thought that it was made of ivory since it gives the same white image under a blacklight. However, there are pittings that are more characteristic of bone where ivory would be totally smooth, I hear. The ink insert does not write so the ink has long ago dried up. My family has had this pen for many years--at least 40 years. It may be older than that. Regardless of its age, it has nice carvings of 3 elephants, one on top of the other from larger to smaller. It has a nice look.
