Vintage Hand Braided Rawhide Latigo Leather Western Riding Quirt:

Older vintage hand braided rawhide quirt, with latigo leather popper and loop handle showing normal wear due to age and use. The rawide itself is in good condition. The latigo leather is pliable, however there is a crack in the leather handle, where it connects or intersects the body of the quirt. There are several small spots of surface checking in the popper also. See closeup photos of the aforementioned wear. Overall it could use a little wipe down to knock the dust off. Measures from end to end 35" long including handle and end of popper. Rawhide section ranges from 1" to 1/2" thick. Great piece to add to a western collection.
