Vintage Hand Appliquéd Embroidered Quilt The Little Dutch Girl DYE BLEEDS 76X62”:

Depression-era? Our best guess on this one is that it is hand embroidered and appliquéd, but machine quilted. This pattern, called “The Little Dutch Girl” is very hard to find and rarely shows up for sale. There is one small area that is torn/worn out-looks like 2 holes- See photo #14. There was bleeding from the red/bright pink appliqué fabric blocks. (See photos #9-13). The bleeding goes through to the other side. One block has a few dark spots on it as seen in photo #15. There are a few very light marks/stains throughout the rest of the quilt.

As you can see, there is yellowing around the edges of the quilt.

I have washed this on the DELICATES cycle after spraying with oxi-clean on the stains and bleeding, but it did nothing to improve the areas. Maybe you are the one that knows how to fix this quilt? Do you have the time to give this quilt some tender, loving care?
