This vintage centerpiece adds a charming warmth to autumn and Thanksgiving decorating. It is a colorful scene of the First Thanksgiving, with many characters and a beautifully set table outside of a cozy cabin. The cabin is so well constructed, you can even peer into the door and windows and see the decor inside.

The pop up design is intricate and well constructed with a lot of details. It was made in Japan in 1960. Hallmark produced this design again in the 1970s, but the figures and faces of the people were quite different. This one is of their original design.

The centerpiece is perfect. It pops up smoothly, no assembly or construction necessary. No tears or marks, no fading. The envelope it comes in is worn all around the edges, and discolored. The base shows some light rippling when folded, which diminish almost completely when the centerpiece is open. This is from my own family estate. It was carefully used for a period of time and has been stored for many years. Please refer to all pictures.
