Vintage Genuine Norlund Sportsman 5 lb. Rafting Axe with Coonskin Hat Pioneer in Canoe Leather Sheath VGC. Head has a 5 on the back as shown in the photos. Measures 8 1/4\" long, Edge is 4 7/8\", 34 1/2\" in overall length and weighs 5 pounds 10 ounces total. Very Good condition, no cracks or chips. Once belonged to a Famous Outdoor Sportsman PR in the Catskill Mountains that had a retail supply store. Very nice AXE offered for user, collector or museum consideration.
