This is a darn cool buckle, from the incredible silversmith, Gary Gist. Yes, the very Gist who has made incredible and very popular bits and spurs. AND the same who paired with Classic Equine to make the Gist line of bits. Full sterling overlay front, rodium plated back, marked Gist, from the \"minted collection\". Lovely hand engraving work on the front, very much in a classic Sheridan Floral design. Nice size buckle, square with raised edge. Unisex. Buckle measures 2 3/4\" long by 2\" wide and will fit a belt/strap up to 1 5/8\". Vintage piece in excellent used condition. Has some natural patina, which we have not polished. Unisex.
