Vintage Gale H. Ferris Rare Breed Poultry Farm Canaan, Indiana 9" Ornate Plate.

This is a beautiful plate and tribute to Gale H. Ferris. Mr. Ferris raised Rare Breed Poultry in Canaan for nearly 60 years. He was the President of the Canaan restoration council and Canaan fall festival. He taught at South Dearborn School Corporation for 33 years. He had many achievements in his lifetime.

The plate is stunning with some minor defects in the glass and some crackling in the glaze. Please look at the last 2 pics. They are of what I think is a crack in the glaze?? It doesn't appear to go through the plate but want you to be aware of it.
