Vintage Hooton Ceramic Teepee in the forest black And White 10 Inch Canister. G.L. Hooton was a potter that had a business in Union, Oregon and he made some unique pieces that are one of a kind. Brilliant hand painted pieces, this canister is just one example of his art, what a fantastic artist. The black and white depiction of a teepee the northwest forest is a rare find as he did many seascapes and animals. This piece appears to have been on display and not used. It has one small crack under the lid but doesn\'t go through to the other side. It is a stunning piece that weighs over 3 pounds and has a nice quality. Please review the pictures for condition and style. There are no other signs of wear besides the small crack on the underside of the lid. Thank you for looking, I hope this piece finds a good home.
