Unless noted above, all of my glass, ceramic, porcelain, and stoneware items are completely free of chips, cracks, scratches, or stains. Evidence of crazing will always be mentioned if present.

Decoration on screenprinted, hand-painted, gold/silver/platinum-accented, or otherwise embellished pieces are always subject to degradation in the normal course of use. I offer only items that show little or no evidence of use. I usually don\'t sell items that are degraded by dishwasher damage from harsh detergents, signs of improper storage, or fading from sunlight or UV lighting.

Regarding tableware, I don\'t sell new items so there will always be some utensil marks - unless the piece is a vintage or antique that was used for display only. However, I wouldn\'t sell any dishes, plates or other serving pieces that show excessive utensil marks that would detract from their beauty.

Generally speaking, I will not offer for sale items with any substantial condition issues unless they\'re of great quality or scarcity, or have some other exceptional innate characteristic and the issues would be described in detail.

I clean everything I sell. I remove dust or dirt, as well as adhesive residue from labels or price stickers. Some items might benefit from additional cleaning, especially in the case of porous ceramics or pottery and I\'ll always note it.
