Vintage Heavy Lamp Fruit Seller Studded with Rough Tumbled Carnelian, Agate, Jade,, etc.
This is an unusual heavy lamp made as a fruit seller..The fruit seller\'s long skirt is generously studded by tumbled semi precious stones all over the box.The stones are different semi precious stones.Some are translucent and allow some light to pass.This is an older piece when people used semi precious stones generouslyIt weighs over 1.15 lbs, nearly 2 lbs.The fruit seller\'s skirt is part of the lamp. Not sure how the bulb is placed inside the skirt.Photo #4 is with a torch light passing through the fruit seller\'s skirt from behind.It may be through the wooden base, but we are not sure.Please see photos as they are part of the description.
NOTE: This listing is only for the lamp. The matching jewelry box is listed separately. The lamp\'s wire needs to be connected to a plug in. Not sure if the lamp works. If you wish to buy both, please wait for a combined shipping invoice. Sold as is.
