A beautifully designed modernist desk lamp from France 1950\'s, originally designed for university accommodation. With a sculpted mid century flying saucer style metal shade painted in duck egg blue with off white paint to the inside. The adjustable shade sits on an articulated metal fitting on a curved black painted arm. The base in blue is angled with 2 switches. 2 lightbulbs within the shade. In good vintage condition as seen in the photos. 48cm high 42cm wide
