This is a gorgeous piece. It is pre-owned and people did use it. You can tell by the scratches on the bottom. However, the scratches are not very bad.

You will want to wash this and season it with a cooking oil to bring back the luster on the inside. I used a little cleaning oil but you\'ll want to do it again with cooking oil...just a little.

This is a genuine Fiesta Accessories piece, an authorized licensee of The Homer Laughlin China Company, made in Thailand for the Metro Marketing Company. I don\'t know if they gave them away as gifts or this is just something you could buy to go along with all your Fiestaware. It\'s the same color as some of the fiestaware I\'ve seen.

I\'ve seen other pieces like this on but not a navy blue one yet. This one might be a little rare. I love it. If I had a big kitchen I would keep it. And I would use it.

I hope you use it. Don\'t just set it away thinking you\'re going to use it some special day. These things are made to use and to make us happy. It is very well made and will last for years and years. Pass it on to the next generation.
