Vintage Fenton Carnival Glass Xmas Plate Two Horned Church Xmas in America #3:

This lovely 1972 Fenton collectible plate is the 3rd in a series of 12 Christmas plates all made from amethyst glass with the carnival iridescence coating. A Church is represented on the front of each plate; the rim is a border of Holly leaves & berries. The name of the church and the year are shown on the front of the plate with the back of the plate featuring a brief history of the Church represented, the Fenton trademark, and the number in the series.

Each year there was a different plate mold made. The moulds to that plate were destroyed at the end of the year limiting the number of plates available.

This plate still has the original foam container and pamphlet of the plate.
