Vintage Fabric French block and roller printed c1880 black orange red cotton :

A beautiful fabric! This lovely fabric dates c1880 and is French. This fabric is printed using both roller printing and block printing techniques ~ a beautiful beautiful design! The colors on this fabric include: antique off-white ground, gold, tomato red, golden orange and black. This fabric is a medium weight, finely woven cotton. There is a small panel of this fabric seamed to the side that has faded with time ( please see left facing side of the panel) and can be removed , but I left intact as it can be used for very small cutting project. There is a hand stitched hem along the bottom, top and left facing side. The right side is selvage ~*~ The main panel doesn\'t have this fading and is ideal for pillows, framing, lampshades etc! ~*~ ( FF 2 )

MEASUREMENTS : This textile measures 48 inches wide by 28 inches long ( the seamed panel on the left facing side measures 16 inches of the width

Condition: The panel on the left is in poor condition with heavy fading and marks, however the central panel is in lovely condition with no holes and only a few very pale marks ~ a lovely fabric ! ~*~
