Certain ingredients and compounds will break down and \"turn\" faster than others. The older the perfume, the less it may smell like what you may remember.

I do my best to secure bottles to prevent leakage during shipping however it is possible that perfume may still leak in transit. I will secure the top of the bottle using electrical tape which does not leave adhesive on the bottle
