Vintage Estate Stanwell Hand Made Billiard Pipe 03-Classic Style, Flame Grain:

Here’s an excellent Stanwell billiard available for a very reasonable price—hole through beneath bit (a Softy Bit will cover it). This briar is about 6” long, bowl is 1 7/8” tall, 1 3/8” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 5/8”. Marked on one side of STANWELL/ HAND MADE, other side 03, beneath shank MADE IN DENMARK. A capital S below a crown stamped on side of bit. No other marks detected.

Bit is well-seated push fit, no filter, cleaned and polished, showing bite wear, a hole below. Stummel is rich milk chocolate colored, flame grain, some handling wear, clean rim, lightly caked bowl. Lovely Danish pipecraft!
