Here’s a beautiful tall GBD rustic billiard, a nice blast in good condition. About 6” long, bowl is 1 7/8” tall, 1 3/8” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 5/8”. Marked beneath shank GBD in oval then Prehistoric in Old English then LONDON ENGLAND 9435. A white GBD medallion inlaid on side of bit. No other marks detected.
Saddle Bit is well-seated push fit, no filter, cleaned and polished, showing oxidation but no bite wear. Stummel is deep burgundy colored, softly sandblasted including clean rim, cake in bowl. Old briar is the best briar!
