This vintage Erie cast iron griddle, marked with the number 739 A, is a rare find for collectors of antique kitchenware. It is compatible with induction, electric, and gas stoves, and has a 10-inch diameter. The round shape of the griddle makes it perfect for cooking pancakes, eggs, and other breakfast foods.
The black cast iron material of the griddle provides excellent heat retention and distribution, making it a favorite among home cooks and professional chefs alike. This original piece was made in the United States and is a must-have for any vintage cast iron collection. I picked this piece up at a flea market and it looks like somebody jagged the edge. I don’t know if they did that for a heat source to be more even not sure noted in the pictures.
