Charles Louis Eloi Pernet (??? - 1963) was a French cutler who rose to prominence in early 20th century. Eloi became an apprentice in cutlery in 1901, and in 1920 established his own factory, called Eloi Pernet, in the Nogent-en-Bassigny region of France.

This coin knife is signed or stamped correctly and was made somewhere around 1900 It has the tiniest drop of rust on the file, neat the coin, but can be removed easily.
