A vintage Tom’s Peanut jar. I can vouch for the age as it was my grandmother’s. Based in its presence in photos from the 1950s I can say it was acquired prior to that. She stored sugar in it and I have done the same. The lid paint is faded and the inside rim ring of the lid has dings throughout as it has been placed and replaced a few thousand times. There is a rim chip on the lid outer edge. See pics. The jar is better but the inner rim has the same wear. Definitely a real vintage jar. Not a reproduction. Ask any questions
