Removable lid - it is not hinged
The lid is interesting. It shows an old-time street scene, complete with a man driving a horse-drawn carriage
No indication of what it used to contain. No brand name shown.
Sides of the container are dark coral pink
THIS WOULD BE A PERFECT CONTAINER FOR TRINKETS, BUTTONS, OR SEWING SUPPLIES, OR JUST AS A DISPLAY ITEM.
VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. Minor dents, scratches and rust spots, but mostly on the underside. The lid is quite hard to remove, though, so it might better be used for display rather than a storage container where the lid needs to come off frequently.
